Theme: Teach Us to Pray
John Calvin once wrote that neglecting prayer “would be of as little profit as for a man to neglect a treasure, buried and hidden in the earth, after it had been pointed out to him.” This statement is convicting because all believers know that they need to pray and that they often neglect to pray.
The goal and theme of CPYC 2021 is to teach on the necessity of prayer and the “how-to” of it by examining our Lord’s teaching on prayer, especially the model prayer, which is commonly called the Lord’s Prayer. Our hope is that the youth of Covenant Presbytery will grow in their understanding of both the gift and goodness of prayer.
