CPC's Youth Ministry

Our Mission: to support parents in discipling students as partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

Our Vision:

Our vision is to ground our middle school and high school students in love, that they may know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, and that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Eph. 3:19), as they are being made into the new humanity, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness (Eph. 4:23–24).

 Antioch Summer Internship 2018

The reason for Antioch is to allow you (the students) a special time to grow in your love for and knowledge of Jesus and, therefore, to grow in love and grace for others. The goal is that you will learn how to become a faithful disciple of Christ.  To do that, we will provide you with tools to promote your Christian maturity, cultivate your daily devotion, and foster your sanctification by permitting the Holy Spirit to work in your lives, which produces godliness (1 Tim. 4:8). As Charles Spurgeon once said, “Holiness is not the way to Christ: Christ is the way to holiness.” To do this, we will grow in our understanding of who Jesus is, what he has done, and how he enables us to become more like him (i.e., “Christ-ians”), and how we are to act as his disciples. Antioch’s purpose is to provide an intensified greenhouse-like time of growth so you can develop life-long habits and skills as you begin your journey as a disciple of Jesus.

The Antioch (which is the city in which disciples of Jesus were first called Christians; Acts 11:26) internship is only being offered for rising 10th-12th graders. If you are interested in participating in Antioch, you can find an application here. A schedule for Antioch can be found here. We ask that you prayerfully read through the application and consider whether you feel called to participate in this "greenhouse-like" internship. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Tyler Kenyon at (901) 616-8668 or at tyler.kenyon@cpcfayette.com.
